Who we are

Led and supported by Essex County Council, the Essex Provider Network and other partners, the Essex Green Skills Hub is a free and collaborative resource for residents, businesses, schools and educators, and other training providers, or indeed anyone with an interest in knowing how green skills can help the Essex economy.

Essex’s approach to the green skills ambition is a joint partnership. We recognise that we must have a system that delivers the right local skills to support Essex to grow as a centre for innovation, which encourages new technologies and business models. This will enable our economy to transition to net zero and secure green jobs for the future.

We are working in partnership to promote green skills in Essex and provide free resources and signposting to:

  • Residents or workers trying to find out about green skills and training, as well as work opportunities.
  • Employers and businesses trying to improve the green skills credentials of their staff.
  • Educators who would like to know more about green skills for their learners
  • Anyone with an interest in knowing how green skills can help the Essex economy.
